2015-2016 ROUTES ARE BEING FINALIZED.  REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED IN AUGUST WILL BE REVIEWED BASED ON AVAILABLE SEATS ON THE BUS AND THE BEST AVAILABLE STOP.  NEW STOPS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.  Some bus routes may have a waiting list.  We will make every effort to accommodate your student, but we may not be able to for the first week of school.
 
  • The Online Transportation Registration Form has been taken off-line.  Some bus routes are taking names for waiting lists.  Inquiries should be made directly to the Transportation Office at the number above or emails can be sent to transportation@sch.ci.lexington.ma.us.
Thanks for visiting the transportation page - Early Registration deadline for the bus was May 16th.  Payments were due August 1st.

A brochure was mailed home the week of 4/6/15.  Your student's ID number can be found above the address block on your letter.
 
When registering, make sure to click "Auto Fill" before clicking "Submit"
 
 
 ** The online form seems to work best with Firefox (especially on Apple computers) **
 ** We are using Firefox 28.0**
  • Please make sure you have your child’s 8 digit ID number before you attempt to register. 
  • Registration deadline:  May 16, 2015
    • New Families moving to Lexington over the summer will be charged the lowest rate of $300/student with a family cap of $750 (3 or more fee paying riders). Please register for bus service as early in the summer as possible.
  • Payment deadline (if applicable):  August 1, 2015
  • If you wish to pay by check, please make it out to "Town of Lexington" and mail to Transportation Office, Lexington Public Schools, 146 Maple St., Lexington, MA 02420

Bus routes are based on registrations, and may vary each school year depending on where students live and who registers.  Should it be necessary, routes will be refined.
 
Please note that elementary bus routes have been designed to arrive at the schools comfortably by 8:40 a.m.
 
Inclement Weather:  During inclement weather, our goal is to safely transport students to and from school.  This may result in students arriving to school or at home later than expected.  The transportation providers do their very best to insure the safety of all on board.
 
Financial Assistance :  Annual applications are available as of May 1st.  The application determines the waiver or reduction of student fees associated with Lexington Public Schools for the upcoming year.
